Pedigree Report: In Reality

Now that I have a bit more time on my hands, I thought I might take a crack at exploring some of the more well-known pedigree lines in American racing. I am by no means an expert, so I'm sure this is just the tip of the iceberg and you're more than welcome to add anything notable about this line in the comments below.

The first line I decided to explore was that of In Reality, who of course, was one of the top horses in his crop (along with Dr. Fager & Damascus) in what was one of the more talented crops we've ever seen. I chose to explore this line first because it is one that I use quite often while I'm handicapping races on a wet track. The In Reality-Relaunch line, in particular, is one that I specifically look for when I'm sorting through the entries for a race that's being held on a wet track. Like I said earlier, this is just a small portion of what I discovered while looking though this line, but even this shows how important In Reality has been to American horse racing.

  1. Don't forget Caixa Eletronica! Great research, though; this sireline is one of my favorites.
